What did the client request?
The client requested an easy to use air tight seal to provide another layer of protection when using smartfresh to treat apples while in cool stores
What is unique or complex about the project?
This was a unique job because we had to ensure that our door was easy to use, be able to be rolled up out of the way, cost effective and be as airtight as possible to mitigate the loss of smartfresh gas.
What were the results of the project?
The client was wrapped with the final result, we have gone on to complete 10 more of these doors for their other pack houses where smartfresh is used to treat apples
